Hannagan Meadow is located in a remote part of the National Forest with only the Lodge, cabins and a small store on the property. We are located 22 miles south of Alpine. In Alpine you will find a grocery store, gas station, post office, restaurants and the library.

We DO allow ATV's on the property. For liability reasons and the safety of other guests staying at the Lodge, WE DO NOT allow them to be ridden on the property at any time. If this is abused, you may be asked to leave the premises.

Due to the wildlife in our area, all food, including ice chests, must be kept inside the cabins. This is for the safety of everyone at Hannagan Meadow.

The Forest Service is very strict concerning fire rules and we expect all guests to follow them. There are small charcoal grills located outside the cabins. These may be used by guests. Please check with the front desk for current fire restrictions before using charcoal grills.

Horseback riding are available from Memorial Day through October. Reservations can be made at the front desk. During the winter months we have cross country skis, snowshoes and tube rentals. Check with the front desk to make rentals.

Hannagan Meadow Lodge is surrounded by 2 wilderness areas. There are many trails to hike and good fishing most of the year. All lakes are within 30 minutes to an hour drive from the Lodge. Our staff is very knowledgeable about the area and will be happy to assist you in your requests.
